Math- Log into Kahn Academy and do 20 minutes of Grade 5.

Reading - Read Chapter 6 of Hatchet

Writing- Answer 5 Questions from Hatchet 6-9

Vocabulary- Hatchet 2-1

Science- Read Pg 20-21 in Grade 5 Science textbook on Mommy's computer. Tell an adult the answers to the Quick Checks.

Music- Click on blocks to build blocks and sounds. There are different colors on the left which are different sounds.

Science- Complete the printout for pages 22-23.

Grammar-
1) Read through each section on dialog tags. Use the words along the top to move to new sections. Click to see more examples.

2) It is okay to use said. Most kids only use said. You will see in the books you read that authors use said. If they said it, they said it. But if they answered or whispered or retorted or yelled, then say so. Try and use words other than said in each dialog you write.

Computer-
1) Go to http://www.WordPress.com. Make sure you are logged in.

2) Go to “My Sites.” Click on “Blog Posts.” WordPress started a post for you titles “Hello World.” Click “Trash” to delete that post.

3) Click “Drafts” and “Start A Post”. Pick a Title. Hit the Tab and write something. Anything. Click on publish. Ta da!
