1. Read 2 pages in your Reading Book

2. Choose the correct ending punctuation. Choose easy.

Math-

1. Log into Kahn Academy and do 10 minutes with an adult.

2. Play with the thermometer. F on the right stands for Fahrenheit which is how we measure temperature in America. C on the left stands for Celsius which is how we measure temperature everywhere else!

3. The number tells you the degrees. We say 32 degrees Farenheit or zero degrees Celsius. That’s the same temperature, just measured in different ways (like we use inches and centimeters to measure the same things).

4. How hot is the desert? How cold is ice?

Science- You are starting a new Science Textbook today!!! Read Pg 5-7 in the Grade 2 Science Textbook PDF

Music-

1. If this tells you that you need to install Flash, try clicking on “Instruments of the Orchestra” over on the left.

2. Learn about different types of wind instruments. Click on woodwinds and then each type of instrument.

3. Make sure you click on “Hear it play” and the arrow to learn about more instruments.
