1. DON’T Write! Today, go back. Read your whole story from the beginning. It’s best to read it out loud.
2. Is there anything you’d like to change?
3. Can you add more detail to your description of your characters or settings so that your audience pictures what you picture?
4. Can you picture your story as a movie in your mind? Picture it as you read. Are there any gaps that you need to fill in?
5. Now, go back and read all of your answers from the days you described your characters and settings. Look at your answers when you wrote nouns and verbs. Look at your chapter list and plot summary pages. Are you happy with where you are? Fix what you aren’t happy with.
