looking for the answers while you read.
2. Answer questions 1-5 from the Question Paper.
Writing – Now that you have some ideas for your introduction
sentence and thesis sentence, let’s start putting together a draft of your
paper.
1. On day 92 you wrote your
topic and then three questions you wanted to answer. Get the paper from day 92
and the Essay-Bot Essay Organizer and put them next to each other.
2. In your writing notebook,
find where you wrote your possible introduction sentences and your possible
thesis sentences. Pick which intro sentence was your favorite and write that
where it says Attention Grabber. Now pick your favorite thesis sentence and
write that where it says Thesis Statement. You will need to write both of these
sentences in small letters because there isn't much room on the paper.
3. Look at your ideas from the
paper from day 92 and think about all the notecards you have written. What are
the three main ideas you are going to talk about in your paper? They might be
the same as the first day or they might be different because you ended up
finding more info about other stuff. Write your first topic next to idea one.
For example, in my frog paper, maybe I found a lot of info about how many
different kinds of tree frogs there are. So next to Idea 1 I would write
“types”.
4. Now write your second and
third topic next to Idea 2 and Idea 3.

there any pile that doesn’t have very many cards? If a pile is too small, find
another source and make some more notecards for that topic. Use a paperclip to keep each set of notes together.
