Day 26-

Math-
1. Log into Kahn Academy and do 20 minutes of Grade 3.
2. Add the Costs of Lunch.

Reading - Read Chapter 26 of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Writing- Answer 4 Questions from the Ch 26-30 Questions, tell Mommy the answer to 2 questions

Vocabulary- Do GOF Week 1-3 Final Test

Science- Read Pg 82-83 in your Science textbook and write the answer to the quick check from page 82 in your science notebook

Music-
1. We’ve looked at early percussion instruments (drums) and early wind instruments (whistle). Now let’s look at early string instruments. I’ve read that the ancient Egyptians used an early version of a harp.

2. At the bottom of this page is an image of what a harp-like instrument might have looked like at King David’s time.

3. Listen to a harp play Autumn Leaves by Kosma. Listen for the harp.

2. Do this German lesson.
3. Watch this counting song.
4. Now can you count up to 20?

Day 27-

4. Watch Mr. Potato Head get all of his parts.
5. Can you sing Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in German?

Day 28-

Math- Log into Kahn Academy and do 20 minutes of Grade 3.

Reading - Read Chapter 28 of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Writing- Answer 4 Questions from the Ch 26-30 Questions, tell Mommy the answer to 2 questions

Grammar- Put the words in Alphabetical Order. Do all four levels.

Science- Read the Visual Summary on Pg 85 in your Science textbook and write the answer to questions 1, 2, 5, and 6 in your science notebook. Talk to Mommy about questions 3 and 4.

Art- Try Chinese paper cutting. Click on the video. Follow the directions. To make a square sheet of paper, fold down the top corner of a piece of paper to line up with the far side to make a triangle. Cut off the bottom rectangle that’s exposed. Now you have a square to begin with.

Reading - Read Chapter 29-30 of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Writing- Answer 4 Questions from the Ch 26-30 Questions, tell Mommy the answer to the rest of the questions.

Grammar- What words should be capitalized?

Science- Read Pg 86-87 in your Science textbook and write your observations in your science notebook

Thinking- Learn how to move a King. Take the quiz when you are done with the lesson.
